The Valley View Teachers’ Association sponsors a Friend in Education award each year.

The individual is nominated by any staff member and must have made a significant contribution in time, service, and/or resources to the school district.  The individual must have made the contribution on a consistent basis as opposed to a one-time effort.  This award is open to individuals outside the education community (teachers, administrators, and school board members are not eligible.)

The final selection is made by the Valley View Teachers’ Association Executive Council.
